iMachina

iMachina is our virtual space for communication, collaboration and knowledge. The media platform is an E-Learning and Knowhow-Tool. It was developed as a research project for the University of the Arts Zurich by our GameLab. The developer team consisted of René Bauer and Beat Suter and for the first phase Livio Lunin and Simon Kovac. Similar to well-known social platforms iMachina provides an easy to understand interface and content that is constantly updated. At the same time, it creates space for social and discursive interactions. The more complex implementations are revealed only at second glance. They provide innovative tools and options for all participants. Their goal is to support creative processes in a clear and focused way. The department design of the University of the Arts Zurich uses iMachina as complementary E-Learning and Knowledge Tool.
